Hunting down bits of ancient civilizations in Palworld is crucial if you want to create cool Ancient Tech like the Egg Incubator at your home base. Perhaps you've recently conquered Zoe and Grizzbolt at the Rayne Syndicate Tower, your first big boss battle. Even though they tossed some Ancient Technology Points your way, you've figured out that you also need Ancient Civilization Parts to actually put together the tech you've unlocked.
Now, if you're just kicking off your adventure, I suggest assembling a team of top-notch Pals, maybe even snagging a Palworld mount for easier exploration. But if you're at the stage where Ancient Civilization Parts are a must, let me guide you on how to score them and start reaping the benefits of all that fancy Ancient Technology.
The prime method for snagging Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld is by taking down the Alpha Pal bosses scattered across the islands. Oddly enough, this doesn't involve the Syndicate Tower bosses granting you Ancient Technology Points; it's reserved for those open-world bosses strolling about. They may be a bit of a challenge in a brawl, but finding them is relatively simple.
To identify an Alpha Pal, look for the bigger ones with names glowing in red, unlike the usual display. These Alpha Pals are generally rarer and won't be a regular sight in the area. Once you spot one wandering around, it'll pop up on your map with a little icon, making it easy to return later for a showdown. Alternatively, you can snag Ancient Civilization Parts by defeating dungeon bosses, but since these caves don't show up on your map and have a limited spawn time, tracking them down is trickier.
If you're after an Alpha Pal boss that's a walk in the park, head to the starting area in the Windswept Hills and take on Chillet. This Pal has a relatively low level and hangs out to the east of the Rayne Syndicate Tower, where you squared off against Zoe and Grizzbolt. Once you defeat Chillet, it drops a couple of Ancient Civilization Parts—just enough to craft the Egg Incubator and begin hatching those Pal eggs you've been gathering all over the place.
