Oddly enough, this doesn't involve the Syndicate Tower bosses granting you Ancient Technology Points; it's reserved for those open-world bosses strolling about. They may be a bit of a challenge in a brawl, but finding them is relatively simple.

To identify an Alpha Pal, look for the bigger ones with names glowing in red, unlike the usual display. These Alpha Pals are generally rarer and won't be a regular sight in the area. Once you spot one wandering around, it'll pop up on your map with a little icon, making it easy to return later for a showdown.
