AMD Unveils Special Promotional Prices for Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX GPUs

In a move to capture the gaming market, AMD has officially implemented a "special promotional pricing program" for certain Radeon GPUs this quarter, focusing on the Radeon RX 7900 XT and Radeon RX 7900 XTX. This promotion aims to provide selected retailers with the flexibility to offer reduced prices for AMD's top RDNA 3 graphics cards.

As part of this initiative, the Radeon RX 7900 XT will now be available for as low as £719.99 in the UK, while the Radeon RX 7900 XTX will come in at £899.99. Gamers can anticipate these discounted prices to roll out across various retailers in the upcoming days, exclusively for this quarter.

Adding to the excitement, AMD has announced the imminent launch of its long-awaited Fluid Motion Frames driver update, scheduled for January 24th. This driver update is set to enable Fluid Motion Frames Frame Generation across all DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 games, a unique feature not available on competing Intel or Nvidia graphics cards.

To sweeten the deal further, AMD is bundling free copies of "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" with select Ryzen and Radeon products until January 30th. This offer includes the Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX GPUs, presenting not only reduced pricing but also a complimentary game.

Here's a list of eligible AMD processors and GPUs for the Avatar Frontiers of Pandora bundle:

**Eligible AMD Processors:**

- AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D

- AMD Ryzen 9 7950X

- AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D

- AMD Ryzen 9 7900X

- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

**Eligible AMD GPUs:**

- AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX

- AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT

- AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE

- AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT

- AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT

- AMD Radeon RX 7600

This strategic pricing move by AMD comes in direct response to Nvidia's impending release of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics card on January 24th, priced at an MSRP of $799 (£769 in the UK). AMD aims to counter Nvidia's RTX SUPER launch by offering lower prices on their high-end RDNA 3 GPUs.

While AMD has labeled these price decreases as temporary, it is expected that these adjusted Radeon GPU prices will likely become the norm in the coming months. The threat posed by Nvidia's RTX 40 SUPER series is unlikely to dissipate after this financial quarter, prompting AMD to position its high-end RDNA 3 GPUs as offering significantly more VRAM than their Nvidia counterparts. The Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX GPUs boast 20GB and 24GB of memory, respectively, while the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4080 SUPER feature 16GB of VRAM.
